A few years ago, I started becoming increasingly "crunchy". I wouldn't say I'm full on crunchy but more of a semi-crunchy mama. Part of this crunchy transformation included moving toward using more natural beauty products for myself. The closer we got to thinking about having a baby, the more I realized I didn't want so many chemicals in my body. So I started on what has been a few years of the trial and error of finding my semi-crunchy mama beauty products. I'm sure I will continue to try new products and find new favorites but for now, here are my top 10 semi-crunchy mama beauty products that have little to no chemicals but still work amazingly well!

Schmidt's Deodorant: I have tried no fewer than 10 "natural" deodorants but this one has been vastly superior for me. No irritation and great coverage. I've even converted a few friends! I've tried both fragrance free and lavender-sage but they have a few other scents. The jar is different than the stick. Go with the jar.
Nourish Organic Body Butter: I started using this body butter before I was pregnant and when I was pregnant, I used it on my belly. I like the lavender scent and use it before bed because it is a little greasy. It keeps my skin nice and smooth, especially during the winter!
Nourish Organic Face Lotion: This lotion is light and nongreasy. I use the argan and rosewater during warmer months and the argan and pomegranate ultra-moisturizing lotion during the winter.

Crunchi Makeup: a friend, and fellow semi-crunchy mama, introduced me to Crunchi makeup a few months ago. Crunchi markets itself as high end, toxin free makeup. I have been using their concealer, matte powder, and eye shadow with great results.
Pacifica Makeup: I also love Pacifica makeup products but especially this eyelining gel. It has just the right amount of shimmer and I also use it as an eyeshadow. I also have their roll on perfume in Gardenia but all the scents smell lovely!
Mongo Kiss Lip Balm: I have tried A LOT of lip balms but this is my favorite. It's smooth and keeps my lips soft. I have Peppermint and Honey Vanilla but they also have a few other flavors.
Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil: Coconut oil has so many uses - moisturizer, lip gloss, makeup remover, in the tub for moisturizing, for salt and sugar scrubs. It's really a great thing to have on hand.
Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm: This is perfect when you need just a hint of color!
100% Pure Organic Coffee Bean Caffeine Eye Cream: I like to think this makes me look less tired!
I'd love to hear your favorite crunchy or semi-crunchy mama products!
