Laundry: Toddler Chores

Let's be honest, with twins there is SO.MUCH.LAUNDRY. I pretty much always have laundry going in the washer or dryer or piled on the couch. As much as I try to avoid the couch laundry mountain, it still happens more often than I care for. In my attempts to keep up, I decided to involve the babies more {I know, I know, they are toddlers now but I'm going to call them babies forever}.

#treeoflife

Over the past few weeks, I've been seeing so many artsy #treeoflife breastfeeding images on my social media feeds. I think they are beautiful so I made my own!

Merry Christmas

Wishing you and your family a very merry Christmas!

Christmas Traditions: Tiny Trees

I LOVE Christmas trees. I love picking one out, decorating it, and sitting by the glow of the lights in my living room at night. I also like having a tree that it shiny and sparkly. If we ever have a bigger home, I will have multiple trees (much to Ben's dismay - they are not his thing). For now, I will settle for my big beautiful tree and two tiny trees!

Toddler Stocking Stuffers

Stocking stuffers and little gifts are my thing. I love putting together things like $10 secret Santa gifts, Ben's stocking, and gift baskets. I am pretty happy with my stocking stuffers for the babies so I wanted to share some of the ideas!

Traditions: The 4 Gifts of Christmas

One of the most fun things about being a mom is starting our family traditions at the holidays. I expect a lot of these traditions will change and evolve over the years but I'm enjoying thinking about what is important for my family an starting a few traditions this year. One of the Christmas traditions I'm starting is the 4 Gifts of Christmas from Santa.

Crafty Mama: Sensory Boards

Being a teacher before having babies has made me really aware of kids' sensory needs. Sensory play is really important for babies and kids. Touch and feel is how as infants and toddlers learn about the world. As the babies grew and became more and more interested in the world around them, I decided I wanted to make them sensory boards.
