WWRM: Eating the Alphabet

This week, we are reading Eating the Alphabet by Lois Ehlert.

Foodie Friday: Fruit and Veggie Yogurts

I've been having fun making the babies' plain yogurt more exciting. My favorite yogurt for them is Wallaby Organic Whole Milk Greek Yogurt but I also like Maple Hill Creamery Greek Yogurt. Baby A is not a huge fan of plain yogurt, and honestly, I can't blame her. The only way I eat plain yogurt is in a smoothie because I think it tastes like I'm eating sour cream.

WWRM: Jane Foster's 123

This week, we are sharing one of our library books - Jane Foster's 123.
I chose this book at the library based purely on the cover. Jane Foster's 123 is a simple counting book with beautiful, bold illustrations. These are the kinds of illustrations I want to frame and hang up!
The book counts from 1-10, reviews what you just counted, and then counts down 10-1, which is a little different than our other counting books.
We enjoyed reading the book over and over and I'm going to look for the ABC version on our next library visit!

WWRM: Peek-a-Who?

This week, we are reading Peek-a-Who? by Nina Laden.
This is a simple but fun board book. There are die cut pages that say "peek a" with a glimpse of the next page. All the things peeking out at you are words that rhyme with who. The babies are very into peek-a-boo right now and it ties in nicely with that game. The text is very short but it's interactive and the diecut pages are easy for the babies to grasp. There's also a special surprise at the end that they love!
The babies actually fight over this book. If one has it, the other wants it! Although, Baby B reads it and plays with the die cut pages while Baby A prefers to eat it...either way they love the book! We recently found Peek-a-Zoo, a companion book, at the library and it was an equally big hit.

10 Months Old!

The babies just turned 10 months old! I can't believe it! This is such a fun age. They are really funny and like to make us laugh, their personalities are really coming out, they're talking (gibberish but it's very expressive gibberish), understanding things we say, and moving a ton. It's just so much fun to watch them take everything in!
