The second carrier I'm sharing from my Babywearing stash is the Boba wrap.
This week, we are reading Baby Touch and Feel Animals by DK Publishing.
If you follow me on Instagram, you know I'm a pretty big fan of chocolate chip cookies (and pretty much any baked good). I used to stick pretty closely to the original Nestle Tollhouse cookie recipe but I always wished they were just a little softer and chewier. I'm pretty good at following a recipe and can wing it while cooking dinner but not when baking. It's just too science-y and I'm too lazy to learn more about how different ingredients will affect what I'm making. Luckily, I've tried enough chocolate chip cookie recipes for all of us and found a great one!
Over my next few posts, I'll be sharing the different types of carriers we use along with a little review of each. I'm starting with one of my favorites: the Solly Baby Wrap.
Spoiler alert: I should probably become a sales rep for Solly wraps because I love them so much.
This week we are reading The Pout Pout Fish by Deborah Diesen.
This week I'm sharing some of my current favorite things! Right now, the babies are just about 9 months old, on the move, and teething. These are my must haves that help me through the day at the moment (I've mentioned one or two of these before, that's how much I love them!):
This week, we're reading Papa, Please Get the Moon for Me by Eric Carle.
Here are a few of our favorite things, the black and white edition!
I'm over at Boston Mom's Blog today talking about reading with the twins!
This week, we're talking about We're Going on a Bear Hunt by Michael Rosen. Someone recently gave us the board book version of this book. It's about a family's adventure going on a bear hunt. They encounter lot of different places on their adventure: the woods, a snowstorm, and a river, among others.
This Foodie Friday is all about the hummus bowl! I'd never heard of a hummus bowl until a few months ago when a new restaurant opened near Ben's office that serves hummus bowls. This place has become our go-to for a healthy take out lunch when the babies and I visit the office. Basically, a hummus bowl is a delicious bowl of hummus topped with almost anything you want to add to it. It occurred to me that it would be pretty easy to recreate a hummus bowl for dinner so we tried it out this week. It was delicious and I made another, slightly different bowl for lunch the next day!
