I received complimentary samples from Piperoos for review. All opinions are my own.
Piperoos are 100% organic cotton pads made by a small company in LA. They come in very cute patterns and colors and are super soft flannel. The packaging is eco-conscious using recycled cardboard and soy-based inks. The package I received was a 3 pack with turquoise elephants, polka dots, and solid violet.
I love anything with elephants for the babies so the sweet little elephant pattern is my favorite! I love that these pads are made with organic cotton. I try to be conscious of what the babies are exposed to and I feel good knowing these pads are made with organic material.
Here are some of the many ways we've been using our Piperoos:
♥ extra changing pad - I use them on the floor, in the car, and at grandparents' houses. I also keep one in the diaper bag in addition to my regular travel changing pad. This came in really handy when we were on vacation at Disney World. We could each take a baby, changing pad, and diapers and change the babies at the same time. We also used a Piperoo for a changing station in the hotel!
♥ playdates - Piperoos are perfect for putting under your kiddos when they are on someone else's playmat, blanket, or rug...you won't feel bad if they spit up!
♥ tummy time - I put a Piperoo under Baby B when he's doing tummy time, especially after eating. It's also great while my little guys are teething and producing puddles of drool!
I would have probably used Piperoos even more frequently when the babies were newborns. We had a Pack N Play with the basinette and changing table options. Since the changing side was wipe clean, not machine washable, we always put a too-small burp cloth over it. A Piperoo would have been perfect for the 24+ diaper changes per day! We also would have put them under the babies any time we put them down on the couch, the bed, the co-sleeper, and on my nursing pillow.
Piperoos are definitely a great new-mama gift! You can get them on the Piperoos website. They have a few different package sizes and color combos. Check them out!
